Roland Mesnier Pastry Arts Scholarship Competition (Private Event)
Chef Roland Mesnier taught the first professional Pastry Arts Program at L'Academie de Cuisine. Founded in 1976 the school is now ranked in the Top 10 professional Culinary schools in North America and the school now trains more than 160 students in the professional culinary and pastry arts each year. L'Academie de Cuisine hosts a scholarship competition each year in Chef Roland's name for students interested in attending the professional Pastry Arts Program. Chef Roland will judge this exciting competition on Saturday morning and one lucky winner will leave with a scholarship to the program. Presentation to CITGO at Mt. Vernon (Private Event)
Chef Roland will deliver a fun and upbeat presentation to this group at a special dinner at Mt. Vernon - George Washington's home south of Washington, DC. Guests will taste authentic White House petits fours after dinner and enjoy a fireworks presentation on the Potomac River.
